In addition to our writing and editorial services, the mouse in my pocket and I also work on our own projects. One of these is something we call Chaos and Credence.
Chaos and Credence is a collection that will include short stories, essays, a few poems and scraps of nonsense, and a serialized novel. Some of it is stuff that debuted here. We’re hoping to have the first edition available for Kindle, Nook, and iPad by the end of this month. We’d like to make it basically a quarterly event.
Why “chaos and credence”? Well, because we think that phrase sums up life nicely: there’s a bunch of stuff that happens, and there’s what you believe all that stuff meant. It’s the perpetually incomplete and inaccurate map of the ever-shifting territory. It’s that pinpoint space where the best-laid plans run smack into reality. We live in chaos, and credence makes it possible.
Anyway, look for it soon. It’s about halfway written right now, and each day brings it closer to your greedy little grasp.
